A Strategic Solution (sometimes called "Outsourcing" or an "Outsourced Solution") is either:
- a Managed Services Solution provided and managed Off-Site;
- a Managed Services Solution provided and managed On-Site; or
- a combination of the two
I. Off-Site Managed Services Solution
- Staffed to manage repetitive, non-critical support segments of a client's infrastructure
- Delivered via a centralized Help Desk
- Solutions are pre-designed and packaged to ensure optimal cost effectiveness
Examples
- Monitor network and communicate back any alarms or problems
- Run voicemail statistics every month and deliver electronically in an easily-understood, action-oriented format
II. On-Site Managed Services Solution
- Staffed and managed on-site, augmented by off-site centralized resources, to deliver a "holistic" solution for a specific application or the entire communications infrastructure
- Scope of Work driven, to address the People, Process, Technology and Network requirements of each individual client
- Solutions are 75% pre-designed and packaged and the remaining 25% is customized around the unique needs of the specific client, to ensure consistent deliverables, with flexibility built in to address any unique requirements
Examples
- Design, implement and manage a Wireless Network for the client
- Design, implement and manage the communications infrastructure for a mid-size client or for a division of a large client
